Earn RSSW Credits – Captial Area Urban League – Infrastructure Building – Program Creation – Policy Research & Recommendation


Interested in organizational development, civil rights and strengthening the community?

The Capital Area Urban League (CAUL) is looking for motivated and dedicated students to serve in various capacities as we build a strong local Urban League, dedicated to improving lives by creating opportunity and advocating for change.  Service opportunities include: infrastructure building, program creation and policy research and recommendation.

Students will be assigned to work on specific projects (college and career fairs, job fairs), marketing and web based outreach, surveys and data collection for advocacy, environmental justice, program development and grant writing for diversion and re-entry programs. There will be occasional office work related to the projects.

There is an immediate and urgent need for web design and social media development.
