We are presenting a free POVERTY SIMULATION TRAINING for the Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families, and the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center on Oct. 8th, as part of their full day of “Student Engagement Training” (9:00 am- 3:00 pm).
We need more participants for the Poverty Simulation Training so registration is now open to the public, including lunch – attendees can stay for the full day of programming, and the entire day is FREE to attend.
You don’t have to stay the entire day- but we need you to stay for the entire simulation training portion, which starts at 9 am, and should end around 11.

High school students and mature children are welcome to participate in the poverty simulation, but it is important for all participants to know that the simulation is not a game, it is a very serious training exercise. College students are encouraged to attend, as well as teachers, after school providers, graduate students, law students, social workers, people who work in non-profit social service programs, police officers, attorneys in low- income legal services programs, psychologists, and any other interested party.
