Saturday, October 3 Volunteers Needed! South End Children’s Cafe – Count Toward RSSW Hours

This Saturday,October 3, 1015 from 10am – 4pm, we will be cleaning, painting, organizing, etc. at the South End Children’s Cafe, 33 Rensselaer Street, Albany, New York, 12202.

Are you able to come by for a few hours to help? Whatever time you are able to give would be wonderful. If you want to bring anyone to help, that’s great. Children and youth are invited, as we will have something for everyone to do.

Some thoughts:

Wear old clothes

If you can bring any of the following, that would be great – If you have any of these and will bring them, please let me know. Thanks!

Mops and buckets

Paint brushes, drop cloths, rollers, rolling pans, painter’s tape

Rubber gloves or disposable gloves

Old rags for cleaning

We will be cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom. We will be painting in our new space. We will be organizing and labeling our pantry.

I will bring all the cleaning products (for cleaning the kitchen, walls, appliances, etc.)

Please let me know by Friday if you are able to come and if you know when, what time.

More directions: If you take a right past Motor Vehicle and before Giffen Elementary School, cross over Green Street, you will be on Rensselaer Street and our space is on the left, inside Reigning Life Church. If you want, you can go to the end of the street, take a quick left and then another quick left into our parking lot.

My cell is 518.275.8890 if you need anything.

Thanks for everything!
