We invite all to the annual showings of The Vagina Monologues!

The award-winning play is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler’s interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace the piece celebrates women’s sexuality and strength. Through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives. For more than sixteen years, The Vagina Monologues has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public.

This year all funds raised will be going to our new Advocacy Center on Campus! Please join us either Thursday, April 30th at 9PM in LC 18 or Friday, May 1st at 5PM in LC 7 for only $5!

Second,

I would like to invite everyone to the 3rd Annual SlutWalk! SlutWalk has become a worldwide movement, working to challenge mindsets and stereotypes of victim-blaming and slut-shaming around sexual violence. We will be meeting at the SMALL FOUNTAIN at 1PM! There will be shirts, sign making and a walk around the podium to challenge slut shaming.

I hope that you all will be able to join us. I also ask that if anyone could help us in promoting it would be greatly appreciated! I have attached both flyers.

In Solidarity,

Deidre M. Dumpson | Director of Gender and Sexuality Concerns
