Please join us for Earth Day on Saturday April 25th from 11-2. There will be three events located in Arbor Hill South End and West Hill. This year, we will be planting the seeds for a vibrant community by doing tours in each neighborhood of abandoned buildings and vacant lots owned by the Albany County Land Bank that are now available to the community to buy.
We want to hear from the community about what they would like to see these lots become and to know these buildings are now available. In addition to the tours, there will be gardening, soil testing, activities, food and a chance for a spontaneous community art exhibit that asks people to envision what a vibrant neighborhood looks like.
If anyone is interested in volunteering, please come to an info meeting at 5:45, at 20 Warren St (Capital South Campus Center.)
Please join us! For more information please contact Tom McPheeters at 433-0679 or email@example.com.
